How we prepare the guides
Our guides help you compare places and plan the practical parts of a Bangkok visit. We explain the information and tradeoffs behind a recommendation.
What a guide should explain
We aim to explain what a place offers, who may find it useful, how it fits with nearby stops and which practical details need checking before travel. Venue and transport sources are more useful for operational details than a general recommendation.
Recommendations, not numerical rankings
We do not currently publish a calculated 0–100 attraction ranking. Category filters and the order of a catalogue are ways to browse the guide, not a measured quality score. A recommendation should be supported by the practical details in the text.
Updates and changing details
A page’s updated date records an edit. It does not mean that every price, opening hour, restriction or third-party offer was checked on that date. Use linked official information and confirm arrangements for your travel date before booking.
Editorial responsibility
The Bangkok Guide editorial team prepares and maintains these pages from published information. We do not create individual traveller biographies or claim firsthand experience without supporting notes from the owner. See the editorial team page.
Booking information and corrections
Ticket pages compare visit formats and link to provider searches. The provider determines the final product, availability, price and cancellation terms. Read the affiliate disclosure, and send a correction when a detail needs updating.
